Okonomiyaki made with rice-based okonomiyaki flour for a fluffy texture.

Ingredients

  • for about 2 sheets
  • Okonomiyaki rice flour・・・100g
  • Water・・・100cc
  • Egg・・・1egg
  • Cabbage・・・150g
  • Ingredients of your choice (squid, shrimp, pork, green onion, fried egg, red ginger, etc.)・・・150g
  • Oil・・・proper quantity

How to cook

  1. 1.In a bowl, mix okonomiyaki flour, egg, and water with a whisk.
  2. 2.Add cabbage and other ingredients of your choice to 1.
    If desired, grated yam can be added to the mixture for an even more delicious taste.
  3. 3.Lightly oil a preheated hot plate (200°C) or frying pan and pour the mixture into a round. When the underside is golden brown, turn over with a spatula and cook the other side as well.
  4. 4.Once cooked, spread sauce as desired and serve with dried bonito flakes, aonori (green laver), mayonnaise, etc.
