Mochiko Chicken” is a fried chicken dish from Hawaii. The crunchy and sticky texture of the batter made from glutinous rice flour is addictive!

Ingredients

  • Chicken meat・・・500g
  • Soy sauce・・・2 Tbsp.
  • Garlic・・・small quantity
  • Ginger ・・・small quantity
  • Glutinous rice flour・・・2 Tbsp.

How to cook

  1. 1.Cut chicken into bite-size pieces.
  2. 2.Rub soy sauce, garlic, and ginger into 1 and let sit for about 30 minutes to soak up the flavors.
  3. 3.Blend 2 tablespoons of rice cake flour into the 2, and then cleanly apply more flour to each piece of meat.
  4. 4.Deep fry in oil at about 170°C until crispy and ready to serve.
