Rice flour gateau chocolat

Moist and rich gâteau chocolat made with rice flour. Please try it for Valentine’s Day and other occasions.

Ingredients

  • 18cm cake mold
  • Chocolate・・・150g
  • Fresh creams・・・100cc
  • Oil・・・2 Tbsp
  • Eggs (separated into yolks and whites)・・・3eggs
  • Rice flour・・・30g
  • Cocoa powder・・・30g
  • Sugar・・・60g

How to cook

  1. 1.Place chocolate, cream, and oil in a bowl and melt well over a pan of simmering water.
  2. 2.Remove from the hot water bath, add the egg yolks to 1 and mix well, then add the rice flour and shaken cocoa powder and mix further.
  3. 3.Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl, adding the sugar in several additions.
  4. 4.Add the egg whites whisked in step 3 to 2 in several batches and mix lightly.
  5. 5.Put the dough from 4 into a mold and bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 35 to 40 minutes.
